This virtual recording project dates back to the beginning of lockdown last year. Stephanie Irvine, who leads the second violin section, created this piece as part of a fundraiser for The Wallich. Here is what she has to say about it:

“I composed this piece during lockdown to raise money for The Wallich, a fantastic charity seeking to end homelessness in Wales. I wanted to create a musical tapestry incorporating 26 songs or tunes nominated by sponsors (#TwoPointSixChallenge). The tunes relate to the themes of hope, home and comfort or have special meaning for my friends and family.” Stephanie Irvine

If you would like to make a donation to The Wallich, please head over to Stephanie's fundraising page.
